SAS seems like people either love it or hate it. Very little in-between. I have a non-ported barrel SAS on an aluminum Icarus lower (and hogue grip). I swapped out the SAS controls (slide stop, and takedown lever) from the standard P365 and added a safety (because of my military training, everything should have a safety... The P365 SAS takes the concept of the SIG Anti Snag treatment to a whole new level. With the incorporation of the FT Bullseye Sight embedded into the slide, it does away with the need of a primary snag hazard of all pistols: the front sight.Theres no rush, have been narrowing it down through the lineup for a while. Theres also nothing clogging up my view of the red dot so thats a + imo. You can take the front sight off of any p365, and also you couldn't have a red dot on the SAS anyway. -Ported barrel does nothing in any practical sense. -The sights (sight) on the SAS is useless. ….
